friday-night-lights2.proboards.com/Hi, I have an issue inside the smiley dropdown. I can't get rid of the light burgundy background, because I want it all this color: I tried to solve it, by right clicking and looking at Inspect Element, but I'm not seeing where to change it in the CSS. Hope you can follow me? Thanks! Dazzal

Dazzal .wysiwyg-smiley-menu.smiley-menu { background: url('https://storage.proboards.com/6945317/images/UsbJxsrAykXpMKkLATsS.jpg'); } Try adding that to the bottom of your theme's style sheet

ChrisThanks for replying. I added it to the style sheet, but it still has not changed. Isn't Retread helping out anymore?

Chris Thanks for replying. I added it to the style sheet, but it still has not changed. Isn't Retread helping out anymore? It's obviously not been added it to the theme that I am looking at since no such CSS rule exists when I just viewed the forum, ensure you are adding it to the right theme

ChrisI did add it to the right theme/CSS previously. It didn't work, that's why I took it out. I'll add it again, so you can see. I appreciate your help, though.

Chris I did add it to the right theme/CSS previously. It didn't work, that's why I took it out. I'll add it again, so you can see. I appreciate your help, though. Looks to be working just fine, I see the background image you specified being applied I of course do not have access to a posting page on that forum (not one I could find anyways) to see the actual popup but the one I manually inserted into the page inherits the background specified by that added rule. No burgundy background is being applied regardless unless that is something added specifically to a board, category or template not available for me to inspect (which you may need to specify if that is indeed the case).

That's a popup from a plugin, not the Proboards smiley popup. I'm not sure of the exact name of the plugin but I believe that is one made by Todge . If you have a guest post-able area I can take a look at it to see what class names are in play and construct a CSS rule to change the background, if not then Todge knows the classes and operation of his plugin and could assist you further.

ChrisI'll try to make a guest area in the top board for you. Yes, you're right, it's a plugin, but I call it the smiley dropdown. lol Even when I look at the guests at the bottom of the board, I see that background again. Give me a bit to make the guest area. Thanks!

Chris I set permissions for EVERYONE. Why isn't it letting you in? Now it is asking for a password (PM me the password please). There is a difference between view and access permissions. View permissions merely allows the user to see that there is a board there, access on the other hand allows the user to actually enter and see the contents of the board. I would also need the ability to reply to a thread to see the plugin in action.

Yes, Chris I know all of that. I guess we are missing each other, time wise. I set everything to permissions and took the password away.

.ui-dialog.ui-widget { background: url('https://storage.proboards.com/6945317/images/UsbJxsrAykXpMKkLATsS.jpg'); } Place that in the theme style sheet and that will change the background for all the jquery dialog boxes not just the one used by the plugin.
