Custom Page Container Height Linking?

Perhaps a poor way of wording the issue, but if you take a look at the "Bounties" page on my forum, you can see how the two containers have different heights. Is it possible to somehow change the settings or coding to make their heights always match?

(Also, ignore the horrid art on that page, it's just a very lazy placeholder for working out the scales I needed. I'd also like if the image could scale with the rest of the content/window, but not sure if that's possible.)

How have you set up the columns? Are you custom-coding these boxes, using the HTML widget...?

I am, yes. The columns are set up in the blog template.

Sorry, that was an either / or question. Are you using the HTML widget, or are you hard coding HTML into the template?

Got it. I'm on my phone right now so I can't take a look at the coding, but if you're familiar with HTML and CSS at all you can start with using CSS to set a defined minimum height and maximum height for both containers. If you still need help, I can check in the morning!

Sorry for the delay! In your custom page, switch over to the HTML tab and put this at the top:

/* Set Bounty Page Container Height */
 .pbcpe-widgets.content {
   height: 670px;
   overflow-y: auto;
</style>

Let me know if that gets you where you want to go.

That seems to do the trick for now, thank you! (I say for now, because I'm not sure what will happen to it if I wind up putting a lot of names on the "active bounties" list box, but hopefully it won't ever be enough to break the box.

the overflow-y: auto; portion will create a scrollbar if content exceeds the height on either box (:
