I am pretty close to being clueless as to how to solve my problem, so try to be patient with me. It's been a long time since I replaced what I think is called the global forum banner. (My name for this is masthead illustration, by the way. In other words, what you see on the top of every page; in my case, an illustration related to San Diego State University.) Recently, I posted essentially this query and got a reply. (To show how clueless I am, I cannot find the location of that query and the answer I got! ) I did save the key part of the answer, which I repeat here........ Admin Home > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Visual Editor > Forum Banner > Banner Image
Under Banner Image, Back Ground Image is the following....... images.proboards.com/v5/banners/image-default.pngI assume that identifies my board's current Banner Image (or what I would call the masthead illustration). I want to change that path so that it points to an illustration I created. That image is a .jpg currently on my website. How do I make this happen? Thanks, Bill Rupp

That is exactly what that is.
To change it to an image of your choice, you can either host the mage yourself, and copy/paste the URL of your image over the current image, or click the button to the right and choose a file from your own PC to upload and display.

If your banner image is a jpg, then it can be used.
