I've been using Windows 10 since its release with few problems (save for one occasion that corrupted Windows and forced me to reinstall it, haha). My first desktop PC came with it, and I installed Windows 10 on the desktop PC I built myself a little while back. It's probably my favorite version of Windows honestly. As I'm going to be moving around a little more for both work and some classes, I ended up getting a newer, decently powerful laptop that happens to have Windows 11. I haven't had the opportunity to try Windows 11 out, as my current desktop doesn't support the upgrade to Windows 11 (nor do I want to upgrade to 11 until 10 stops being supported). Due to the chip shortage and pandemic delays, I won't be able to get my hands on this laptop until a few months into 2022. In the meantime, though, for those who have Windows 11, how has the experience been, and is there anything I should know about moving from 10 to 11? In addition I'm most likely going to experiment with some Linux distros as well. The laptop comes with 2 separate SSDs, so I intend to run a Linux distro on the SSD not occupied by Windows. For my Linux users out there, what's a distro you'd recommend? I was thinking of going with good ol' Ubuntu, but I also want to try Zorin out as well. (And maybe even the fabled Hannah Montana OS.)

Honestly with WSL, I haven't really bothered to do any sort of dual booting in a while, the WSL version of Kali works pretty well and it and Remnux / Sift are the only real Linux variations I end up using
As for Windows 11, It's... ok, I don't know, I can see what they were going for, and it's on my laptop, my verdict is not in on it yet.

I've seen people use WSL in place of dual booting, I kind of worried about the inconvenience of dual booting so I might try WSL out once my laptop comes in (or even beforehand just to get a feel of it).
