Soccer Friendly Match - U.S. Women's Soccer Team

I heard in the past that the U.S. Women's Soccer Team was so good that they could compete against men's teams from other nations. This is because the U.S. Men's Soccer Team is seen as mediocre and not up to par with the rest of the world. I don't watch soccer or sports that much, but are the U.S. Women's Soccer Team really that good?

I would very much be interested in watching a game which features a prominent football team against the United States' women's team. I really would like to see what this team can do.

I'd imagine it would be a friendly match.

I would really much love to see this team go up against the men.

I would as well.

I think that women are highly talented. Could they beat a lot of the elite men's teams around the world? Hard to say. But I think that they could give it quite a fight depending on who all played.

It would have to be a friendly match, as neither the Mens or the Women's teams are affiliated to the same governing body.

The American woman's team have won more World Cups but are the better?

A massive population to draw from and some world class facilities & coaches plus sponsorship. They might have an early advantage there.

As much as I hate football, I'd really like to see a mixed sex league or cup.
