The only correct amount of snow is more snow! This.^ This is exactly how I feel. I don't think we've had a good snowstorm (over 18 inches) in years.

They are a good sight, but difficult to drive in if we get a lot.

There was a snow squall here in Connecticut nearly two days ago, let me tell you. OMG! I know!! I saw it. I'm in Shelton and my husband was in Milford (on the shore) I got the emergency notice on my phone, by the time I called Greg to be carelful I couldn't even see across the street. Then 15 minutes later, it was gone!

Speaking of snow... I just heard on the news that my state (connecticut) is going to habve 60 degree weather tomorrow, and the next day plowable snow and the day after that, snow sleet rain. I wish winter would make up its mind.
We have Indian summer inthe autumn... what would you call these really warm deep winter days?

Well, starting for us right now, heavy sleet.
Always strange walking on an inch or two of little ice balls.

People often wonder what the future will be like and how the world will look different 100 or 200 years from now. And they picture weird, far-out things like flying cars, moon colonies, and forum software with built-in pizza makers. But no, I think one of the things we'll actually have in the future is heated roads that can melt snow and ice in northern cities. You know how the Kansas City Chiefs' stadium is heated so it can melt snow that lands on the field? A couple hundred years from now, every major city that gets significant snowfall is gonna have that. Maybe not on all the sidewalks (that would be too expensive) but certainly all the major roads, and perhaps even the minor streets in residential areas as well. Sorry, Mr. Plow, but you're gonna have to find work elsewhere.
