Does it come natural? Or did you have to learn it?
We all learn in one way or another, but for some, it's easier than others, and for others it's harder.
Like web development, I really had to buckle down and learn, and I'm still lost in a few areas.
But creating music in a DAW (Digitial Audio Workstation) has been easy to me. I learned 2 Genres just by listening to other music, and having my ears isolate each instrument of a song, and essentially replicate it to understand. Now I can create a song within 2 hours. Mixing and mastering I did/learned on my own along the way as well, and so many people struggle with this portion, and takes them hours to figure out how to cut the highs and lows the way you want, making sure every instrument is at a level you think is good so there isn't any clashing.
Video editing was also something that I've self taught over the years, some youtube videos here and there to learn a certain technique. But by watching others' I can mimic them essentially and create a wonderful story for the viewer to watch.
Acting also kinda comes natural to me, sort of. It kinda feels right when I play a character that isn't myself. But also, keeping lines straight, and remembering is my issue. I've also recently learned that my dad's mom is an actress on a TV show back in the day, and my dad played guitar. (I know neither)
I was always interested in theater/drama club in school, but way to shy and social anxiety stopped me from going.
But then there is cooking, or drawing/art. Which I struggle and stink at both, but still enjoy from time to time.
So my question is, what comes natural to you? And what do/have you struggled with?
