I listen to my music via the Amazon Music app. since I own all of what I listen to.

I back mine up on micro SD on a tablet then connect via Bluetooth I would just use my phone but having music stop when you get a call is annoying.

I'm testing out YouTube Music right now, coming from Spotify. I figure if I'm paying mostly the same either way I might as well also get ad-free YouTube wherever I'm logged in since I like watching videos on my phone. I love Spotify's interface and YTM is taking a little longer to get used to, but it's all right.

Spotify when on the move. However, I’m only admitting to using that platform because none of my musicians friends are here😀
Spotify pays them pennies for thousands of streams. Anyway..I digress.
As an oldie, my favourite way is via the physical product. Also helps the musicians earn a living. I like to read the cd booklets/ album sleeves notes for details such as who played what, guest appearances on tracks,writers, producers, etc. Also, remember how amazing and iconic some of artwork and photography were?
Before Spotify, I used Apple Music.

However, I have youtube music due to premium.

I also have Apple Music due to a Apple Bundle, with music, arcade, 50GB iCloud, Apple TV.

But I've been using Spotify premium since 2015. I also prefer Spotify because I'm a verified artist.

I still collect cds and have over 4000 of them.

I also listen to music via amazon music on alexa, have some mp3's on my computer and listen to the radio

About the only time I listen to music is in the car via the radio or usb drive (burned music I've bought from Amazon) on long drives.

I have youtube premium, so it is an easy thing to make playlists on it and just select one I want and lock my phone.  
Though I do like Spotify premium of course.

Almost exclusively Spotify these days. I'll use YouTube if I'm looking for music videos. But that's about it. I have Spotify Premium for the family, so it handles our needs well.

I've tried everything over the years. A few years ago I got Spotify Premium and im never looking back.
