Voting Stars (1-5)

Hi Asaemon,

A voting plugin for posts is very doable, but one for custom pages could be a problem as the data for every vote on you custom page(s) would need to be contained in one global key...

Can you live with a plugin that only covers posts?

You will need to select which board(s) you want it on, and remember to set the key permissions in the plugin settings.

I don't seem to get the plugin to be active and I don't see the feature while reading threads/posts.

Did I miss any setting?

  The .rate-container has zero height and is positioned absolute leading to overlapping with signatures in some of the posts, setting a min-height and position to relative using devtools allows absolute positioning of inner .star-div relative to immediate parent while still allowing better flow with differing post contents (no bottom:2px necessary)

Thanks for the suggestions Chris , I have corrected the z-index values.

But, if I use relative positioning I can't get the star rating at the bottom of the post...



And if I add a minimum height, the positioning goes doolally..



BUT, keeping the position at absolute, with a height set to auto, and adding a margin to the bottom of the post, I think I've found an answer...
