Hi, 1st post here and new to phpBB - in MyBB there is a function that allows to click an arrow (just in front of thread title) "Go to 1st Unread Post"...
This allows you to pick up in a long thread by taking you directly to the post after you last read the thread, and if replying will allow you to go back to the post after the one you replied to so you can continue to navigate and read only things you have not yet read...
I think a serverside cookie stores the posts you (Members/Staff only) last read to make this possible - but I'm not 100% sure on that...
Is there any chance one of you plug in writing wizards can muster up that option to be available to add to ProBoards..?
Thanks for any help you may be able to muster...

Here's some helpful tips regarding new posts in a thread: A. Clicking on the new icon will take you to your first unread post of that thread. B. Clicking on the thread title will take you to the first post of that thread. C. Clicking in the Last Post cell will take you to the last post of that thread (which is the most recent post made in that thread).

Thanks - I've not opened the board up to invited members yet so did not see the NEW tag until creating another account to test... This is great and needs no plug-in as it's exactly as I need already - sorry to waste your time in this, but HUGE THANKS as I had not seen the obvious staring me in the face when I logged in as a different member... You rock...
