So, been searching for 2 hours on this issue. I have iTunes version 12.12.5 I just renewed my Subscription to AppleOne, so I can listen to Apple Music on my Mac, AppleTV, etc. Want to listen to my Apple Music Library on PC (I do have Spotify as well, but I find Apple Music's quality sounding better with Lossless) My local library plays music just fine. It's Authorized. I signed out, and resigned back in. But anything in Apple music doesn't play. I changed it from Windows Audio to Direct Sound. I've did every trouble shoot I can think of, except reinstalling. That will be the last resort. iTunes on my Mid 2009 MBP plays Apple Music just fine. Has anyone had any issues with this? I've looked up the past month, and 12.12.5 audio issues for Apple Music, and every site says the same exact thing, but not for 12.12.5, and mainly for Mac even though I said Windows 11.
Thanks!

I thought iTunes was discontinued. Don't think for windows as of yet. I just got an update of 12.12.5. You can download iTunes through the Microsoft store. Otherwise, they still have a standalone installer they're still updating. Think it was discontinued for Apple related products for their Apple Music app. Which is basically a reskinned iTunes imo. But iTunes is still running and being updated for windows only. You basically have to download an older version of iTunes, but you'll still get current updates for the standalone installer and should work normal. Albeit, I am having an issue.

I'm not sure exactly what you tried, but I found this: support.apple.com/et-ee/guide/itunes/itns1ec50a03/windowsThe option standing out to me was checking to see how many authorized devices you have. If you're maxed out, you may not be able to play anything.

I just remembered that I had iTunes installed on my Windows PC and gave it a whirl, and can confirm that playing music from Apple Music is working fine here. I'm on Windows 10 though, and the version number of iTunes installed is 12.12.5.8. I think I installed it on here at some point in the past for restoring an iPhone, so all of the settings are at their defaults.

They just need to port over their new Music program over really. I mean, I can get the android subsystem thing to use the app. But. Eh. To much work and effort. Lol
