For editing the folder images, any photo editing software that can retain transparency should be able to recolor images and add text. GIMP is a free photo editing program. Otherwise, if you're looking for a completely online solution, Pixlr would work, too: prnt.sc/N3uJu7AxO0kM

Thank you for your reply. I thought there was such a thing as an icon-image editor. How do I apply the word new to the folder? You're welcome! There are text tools in both GIMP and Pixlr that allow you to add text to images, but I think the simplest solution would be to simply recolor the image with the text already on it (board-new-post.png).
