My name is Cade, and I'm not technically new here, though I'm newly active. I got into forums when I stumbled upon the High School Story forum in 2014, and randomly decided to join so I could talk to fellow HSS gamers. After that forum ended up losing its administration and many of its members (and then being deleted altogether), I joined the Geometry Dash forum in 2016, as I enjoyed having the company of online friends to chat with. I ended up being promoted to Global Mod, and then Administrator of that forum, and was active for a little over a year before my personal life started to get busier, and I became less interested in geometry dash.

I also decided to create my own forum, the Tropical Cyclone Forum, in 2016. As the name suggests, I created it to be a place where people could discuss tropical cyclone news amongst other things. I had one somewhat active member join me, and we had some discussions, although no other members joined us and I started to get discouraged and left. In 2018, I went back to the Tropical Cyclone Forum, mostly for nostalgia purposes, but also because I hoped to boost activity. Obviously, no one else joined me and I became discouraged again and left. Fast forward four years to now, I've decided to come back and give it another try. I know that I have an uphill battle in boosting activity (honestly I haven't the faintest idea on how to do that other than sharing it with like-minded individuals), but I plan on sticking it out this time. I also plan on trying to be active over here as well.

Welcome! It's hard to get members especially when you have a certain niche. What people have done is just start joining other forums. Even Post Exchanges are helpful.
