I have a new computer and I love it.

So nearly a month ago I got a Windows 11 desktop. And today, I connected the monitor, ethernet, mouse, keyboard, and printer to my new computer. And let me tell you, the internet speed is pretty faster than Windows 8.1. I made a speedtest today, and it turns out pretty great! Here are the results:

It's Windows 11 Home, Version 22H2, Installed on November 15, 2022, OS Build 22621.1105, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22638.1000.0. For Desktop: Intel(R) Celeron(R) J4025 CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz Installed RAM 4.00 GB (3.75 GB usable), 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor.

The os it's self shouldn't make a difference when it comes to speeds that's hardware related your old system probably had a weak port on it

Most favorite: Internet speed, Google Chrome, being protected by McAfee LiveSafe, having Notepad and the WordPad app pinned on a toolbar, and CCleaner.

Least favorite: Having the Widget and McAfee pop-ups at some points, being discouraged that Windows 11 omits only the files from my flash drive and instead has the files show up in folder forms, one way or another.

I am stubbornly sticking with windows 10 for the time being, and I dislike this version. I think my favorite was windows 7 and if it was still supported I'd be on it. 10-15 years ago when I was a teenager I used to be obsessed with computers (still am, but differently) and loved the operating system. I remember defending windows vista back when it came out. Fun times when that was sort of a thing.
Enjoy windows 11 and your new computer! I built mine myself a year ago for school and work.

I love the slimmer desktops they make it so much easier to find a desk that suits it.
