Well this year is turning out to be not so great. Cat got sick with an anal glands infection the vet provided a Convenia shot due to an anal glands infection but I'm starting to see more discharge so it'll probably turn into a $300 extraction surgery. Had a dentist visit that totaled a $10,000 bill which I'm looking into a loan for, but on the bright side I decided to finally go for the Pfizer shot and flu shot. Just to find out my cholesterol levels are getting high. Yay for 2023 so far.

I read that too quick and missed the CAT part and thought you was being treated by a vet for anal gland problems
I take it pet insurance is not an option for you, although it would be too late now I guess.

But like Beast I misread it and was completely confused... however, I have pet insurance it is relatively cheap and I get it on chewy.com. I have a bunch of health problems as well, and my cholesterol is a big one its so out of wack. So I understand. They treat mine with a medication as well as diet restrictions sadly

2023 will be hiding in the corner soon enough because you and your cat are much stronger than it thinks. You are tough, brave, and will conquer everything that comes your way.

Had a dentist visit that totaled a $10,000 bill which I'm looking into a loan for $10000 for a dentist bill? Did they give you gold teeth? after all 10000 seems like robbery for a normal dentist appointment

Dentist work is like an art form very interesting to actually watch them form and shape teeth.

Care Credit can also be used for your medical/dental as well as your pet, yes?

For your pet too? Owen needed emergency care once to help him pass a calcium stone and that was about $600.
Luckily, he's been fine all the rest of his life. *Hugs Owen*

It goes without saying, I would pay what I needed to ensure the life of my furry friend. I just think it is outrageous sometimes.

Definitely. Owen is a little tortoise. I feel lucky that I noticed he was behaving differently that morning. I definitely asked him "What's wrong" for a few minutes. I said a prayer for him. Then I realized I didn't think I could help him. I don't regret a single penny. He needs the longest, happiest life possible.
