Help With a Theme Background

This image is on a theme (Jcink) that I belong to. I have permission from them to use the background for a proboards theme I am making for someone. The background is 1195 x 715 px

How do I get it to look like this:


 Instead of this:
Just the background and nothing else,

Do you have a link to a larger resolution of your sample images? When I click on them, I get a 404 not found error. I can't really see the differences between the images based on these thumbnails, so there's no way for me to provide an answer.

Got it! Try adding this to the bottom of your theme's CSS sheet:

body {
  background-size: cover;
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
}

That said, it looks like you've also used this image in your board backgrounds? So it won't look exactly the same, as the image is being used twice. You'll need to remove that, and then set your board background colour to transparent.

It's actually not transparent. You have a background image specified for your boards -- it's just the same as the background image for the forum.

I didn't add it was a work in progress. I have everything down to the footer changed. Do I need to make the container transparent as well? Kami,

If you want the same effect as the JCINK forum you linked to, then yes.
