I collected Breyer horse figures and had probably over 100 of them. My sister and I would play with them and they all had names and super powers. I remember naming some of them very esoteric names, like Eratosthenes after the Greek mathematician (yeah, I was a nerd). Some of them were even in a rock band and we curated a playlist of songs for them on my tape recorder, lol.

As well as Transformers and Lego (Typical 1980s kid here), I also loved dinosaurs, and had a nice small collection of various plastic ones. I think it comes from having this kid's encycolopedia which had a great Jurrassic section within in as well as a 2 page spread timeline chart of all the perios od time covering that era. Also in relation to dinosaurs - trilobytes, they fascinated me as well. In general I just loved learning about dinosaurs I think!

I've actually gone trilobite hunting and found some trilobite fragments.

The actual Dimetrodon was actually one of my two favourite dinosaurs between them and an Anklyosaurus.

I was OBSESSED with Pokemon cards, I remember I used to have like 4 binders FULL.. and now.. boom they gone.. some would've been worth quite a bit but for the life of me I don't remember what I did with them.. :/ And Rush, the band. I was a super geek... And that is ok with me

Hanson, but I still am decades later. I've met them twice and we've become actual friends. It's amazing. Young me probably wouldn't have imagined such a meaningful and profound development in my Hanson story.

Writing actually, back in my younger days when I did mental type of rps as it was booming back in 2006. I also loved working on PCs. I was obsessed with wanting to learn and gather electronics that made me happy. I'm trying to get back into writing normally although my grammar isn't the best.
Right now I'm obsessed with electronic cigarettes - not to promote tobacco use on the community here. It got me off normal cigarettes no one should smoke addiction is hard to cure.

We didn't have much when I was a young lad in the 50's as the country was still getting over WWll and things were tight money wise but always on Christmas Day we (I had 7 sisters and one disabled brother) would get the normal things on Christmas Day which our parents could afford.
Going to bed at night, hang a sock on the end of our bed and wake up early in the morning and find it had fruit inside and a few packets of sweets, rush downstairs and I would find a Beano or Dandy book and a few presents but in those days we were all close and appreciated what we got.
Remembering sitting around our table with a Christmas hat on for Christmas dinner and then a pudding after and seen who had the shilling inside the pudding, nostalgic memories, nine of us plus my mum and dad around the table enjoying Christmas day, as I said, Life was hard then but we just got on with it and enjoyed what we had, no colored TV, computers, laptops, mobile phone.
Then when we finished our Christmas dinner it was outside to meet up with your pals and show or tell what we got for Christmas and play away to our hearts content.

As I got older then I became fascinated by space and the stars, many a time on a clear night I would venture outside and just sit there looking at all the stars and thinking "There must be someone up there looking down at me thinking the same thing..."

I was obsessed with this site when I was younger. I had 3 or 4 of my own forums to very limited success, while being a part of many others, including role play (HP preferably) forums. I tried to participate as much as I could in the support board and the one where you could offer advice on others peoples' forums. I am awful at coding and design but I even picked up the coding equivalent of conversational HTML. I also participated daily if not constantly on the AIM (AOL instant messenger for those born in the 21st century) chat room that was fairly popular back in the day. One night I made it a mission to have the latest post on every single thread on the front page. It turns out it wasn't that interesting to achieve and no one cared.
