I'm speaking more post-op surgery and what not this isn't meant to increase fears and anxieties of dentists since I've been dealing with this this year frequently. I let my teeth go and got tired of the pain so I'm getting a fair share of crowns put in this year. One of my stories was having my tounge accidentally cut by the dental assistant while drilling. It healed promptly and their wasn't much pain so I didn't make a huge fuss over it. Another instance which maybe gross to some was waking up to discover dry pools of blood on my pillow the next day from a post-op bridge.
