my name is kayli! i guess i am here to get back to the roots of my youth. i figured the base of proboards would be a big help. apologies if this isn't allowed, but i didn't see any posts indicating it isn't? i used to roleplay meerkats. & in my down time in my older age i figured i'd give it a try again! i will be searching for forums that have this purpose as i thought some ads would be here, but i figured a nice little intro post would help others find me while i do search. i don't mind which one, but i do think it would be fun if i somehow found the old one i was originally a part of. i am pretty sure i was known as "orange-meerkat" back then if anyone remembers that name. much love to all and have a nice day!

Oh, and I found a vampire/meerkat one, but unfortunately, that one's gone, too. I would've loved to have been able to see how THAT worked!

The member names they use on those forums might not be the same member names they use here. All of the forums I linked are no longer active, but you might be able to find your old posts and take a trip down memory lane. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any active meerkat forums for you.

Hi there! (: It's so nice to see another person still into meerkat RP, man it's such a small niche these days. I don't thiiiink I recognize your name ("Orange" is such a cute name for a meerkat tho), but I may just not be remembering well enough. Do you think the site was perhaps Linklu? They were the biggest meerkat RP community, and then there was also Desert Warriors; I wrote on both very briefly. To my knowledge, neither is active any longer, sadly.

I do have good news though! Even though my former forum (Kalahari Manor, mentioned by Wildmaven earlier) is no longer active, myself and two other long-time meerkat RPers/friends moved to a new one! It's one we keep private so don't really advertise it, we've found we enjoy a tiny, tight community; however, I've spoken to them and if you're really into the idea of writing meerkats they are both welcoming to a new face! (:

i think i found your d.a account as well. i remember that icon from when i looked up "meerkat rp." i used to be a deviant as well, but i forgot my name hehe so started new. i really like ur art!

Yeah I'll send you the link in a PM! :D And don't worry at all about activity inconsistency, all three of us write MUCH slower than we used to; we're all adults that have other priorities now. This forum is very much a hobby, so stressing out over "oh I need to reply to this and this and this by tomorrow" or anything should never be a worry, we're here for fun!

And aw, thank you about the art! I need to draw more but man do I stress too much about it and ruin it for myself lol. I'm following you back on there from my primary account. <3
