Since this will be one of the few times I actually will be home, me and my son plan on just sitting outside with a fire and telling stories haha. Fireworks are fun, but I am old and feeble. And do not like the loud noises.

Since moving back into the city. (A lot of circumstances I won't go into detail on this post) I hear a lot of fireworks, and I don't mind the noise, it's literally just big snaps. I normally have my studio headphones on anyways, and they're closed back, so I hear nothing. lol.

Otherwise, for the 4th. My grandma is going to watch the Macy's 4th of July on TV, and I'll either watch with her, or play video games. The ones here in town are lame, we would have to travel an hour to go see really nice ones like we did last year, and I don't feel like doing that this year. Plus, my brothers work, so really it's going to be nothing. My mom is staying home with her dogs, but they live in the country, so the dogs don't hear none of whats going on.

So, kind of a normal day, we celebrated a bit early, my wife and I cooked and baked, and family came over, we ate, talked, had fun, and then that was it.

This year I'll probably be trying to sleep. I've been awake well over 24 hours and was on the road for ten of them, so I'm pretty wiped out. I might work in some video games first.

Not the most exciting year, but it's also pretty hot and most people I do things with are busy, so this year it will be mostly just chilling inside. I have no doubt my neighbors will be as obnoxious as possible with all their fireworks, and I'll try to be okay with it so long as they don't set any fires.

For the past two days, I sat in a sweltering fireworks booth in 110F heat to make money for our local theatre. I just want to relax today.

Our dog is deaf, so no worries about fireworks for him.

I don't feel like partaking in any of the festivities for personal reasons. So this year I've decided to be British. It's just another Chewsdie, innit?

Neighbor down the road spends a fortune on professional size fireworks and everyone drives over when they hear the first BOOMs and sits in their cars along the road to watch them. No visiting between cars and no idea what the "hosts" name is ... it's kind of weird but it seems to the way around here.

Possible evening thunder storms so shall see what develops tonight.

We just stayed home for the 4th, too many drunk boaters/drivers. We live in a summer vacation area.

We did the parade as we normally do. It's a small town so it's only about twenty minutes, which is nice.

This year, we did the local fireworks instead of setting off our own. The fireworks show itself was nice, but small. However, all of the thousands of dollars people shot off before and after made for one heck of a show!
