Had to have this one. It’s one of my favourite tunes of all time.
I know it’s about being in a winter climate and dreaming about summer elsewhere. But, the whole vibe of the song says Summer. Typical of a lot of songs around that time in the 60’s. Seems whatever the subject matter….the vibe was always Summer and that included songs from the UK. Pretty sure there’s some deep, intellectual political and social explanation. But, for now, just enjoy.
