^ One of my favorite Husker Du songs from one of the very first albums that got me interested in underground rock. ^ Same as above, just swap "Husker Du" with "Pavement" ^ A recent discovery for me, this is the first track off XTC's Skylarking. I discovered this band last summer, and they quickly became one of my all-time favorite bands. Edit: It cuts off abruptly at the end because on the album it's meant to transition into the next song, "Grass." I forgot about that when I posted it, whoops. But this is technically the complete song.  ^ I discovered this band just a month or two ago, still getting into all their stuff. |

EDM, especially mid to late nineties, is the genre I usually associate with summer. Sash, Sonique, Dario G and the like.

This song always reminds me of my time spent fishing in the summer off of Long Island. It's a melancholy song, but for me it evokes times of tying the boat to the bridge at the inlet and fishing at dusk. No worries, just floating.
And it has some awesome guitar work!
