I've been searching for a decent set up and think I finally found one, this cheapo little antenna picked up 35 channels in my area. You may ask why bother with antennas? Well wifi outages are still a thing pretty common in the area, plus I can pick up sports without paying extra. I'm unsure how it's going to go in bad weather but adding this little guy near the window helped and it's not a eye sore for the outside.

For $10 on sale I can call it a win.

What area do you live in (if that is too personal just be vague)? I got an antenna for my TV since all of our local channels were taken off of cable and, it didn't work well. I'm curious about how you can pull in so many channels so easily.

I'm in the Midwest area as [ASE] explained it could be you need an amplifier and this one came with a miniature one must've been enough to scan some channels.
