What I wore to the Star Trek Convention

I wanted to do something totally different this year, something I've not seen at conventions. I know I showed parts of it in a previous thread, but here's me actually in the costume at the convention. I made it into the Top 20 in the costume contest! I had a lot of fun and got stopped about every 5 feet for photos. Several women came up to me with their daughters, saying that their daughters now want to learn how to crochet. The costume ended up weighing 10 pounds, and I used 3 miles of yarn to make it. Since the convention hall is usually very cold, I wasn't too hot.
