Joilet - people in my circle already know about Metallica, but I appreciate you sharing. Some of my favorites are of course Enter Sandman, Wherever I May Roam, and Mama Said.


If you like Metallica, have you checked out Disturbed? Their songs: Voices, Down With the Sickness, and In Another Time are favorites of mine. Even though a metal band, Hold on to Memories and their cover of The Sound of Silence have a more widespread appeal.

Glad you didn’t tag me, because I’m a Metallica fan (though I’ve lost some traction with them) Met them back in the 80’s in the UK when they toured the ‘black album’. Wasn’t a planned meet. I just hung around the back of the stadium with a few other fans. I remember thinking how pale and unhealthy both Lars and James looked.😀They were tipsy but nice to us.
Sadly, of course, it was pre mobile/cell phone days, so no selfies. Got autographs then lost them😥
I have a friend whose pally with them and gets passes and video appearances.

Toto? Never really got into them (grew to dislike Africa) though ‘ hold the line’ has a tendency to stick in my head.😀and I know various members have surfaced on some good stuff either as writers or performers.
