Hey there. I won't go into much detail here because I'd rather discuss it privately, but I'm looking for help designing and helping build a Digimon themed forum. Instead of giving the details of what I'm looking for in a forum, I'll instead request anyone with extense graphics and coding experience that may be interested to let me know either here or in personal messages. I expect nothing for free, I'm looking to hire you for your time and work. Examples of your work should be all I need, and we can discuss everything else if there's interest.
Many thanks in advance and my sincere apologies if I'm breaking any rule or doing a bad job in this request.
Eagerly waiting contact.

I think it's great that you want to compensate people for their time. However, this style of request isn't really appropriate here.
Firstly, as a prerequisite of requesting a theme, you must provide a link to your ProBoards-hosted forum. This includes sites using the subdomains of proboards.com, boards.net, and freeforums.net, as well as sites hosted with PB's sister service forums.net, and includes any site on these subdomains that are using a custom URL. We need this information because we are only allowed to fill requests for PB-hosted forums though this board and need to confirm that is the case.
As a general word of advice, if you have a particular vision and set of skills you need to make that vision happen, you need to be upfront about it. Currently, you're asking folks to make an investment of time (showcasing a portfolio + skills resume) in something they know nothing about, in the hopes of maybe getting selected for this mystery project. Everyone that would look into this board is a volunteer on this forum, and probably a hobbyist designer / theme creator, and it's just a lot more efficient for everyone to be upfront about your needs.
If you really want to keep it under wraps, then I instead recommend instead of posting an open call to search out theme designers who are taking commissions. You can do a quick google search for "proboards theme commission" or something along those lines to find someone who is already open for work on this project.

Hey there. Thank you for taking the time to reply with such helpful advice. I have not yet added any details nor provided a forum link because I had hoped to work these things out with the commissioned help. But I understand that’s not how it’s done here, and I respect the guidelines and will follow them. I just ask that you don’t close this topic until I have the free time to appropriately edit it and add some more information that could help. I also understand you’re obliged to make sure the help I’m requesting is proboards-related, and I can assure you it is. Having used proboards since I was a child I could never find myself creating forums of any other type.

Having used proboards since I was a child I could never find myself creating forums of any other type. It's not really a thing here to lock topics beyond something being super old and getting a fresh reply after many years, or if people are arguing too much or something. I totally understand wanting to work this out with someone, but to be totally transparent there aren't a lot of people who frequent PB Support that would be open to taking on a theme project even for pay + known guidelines so its even less likely to find someone here that would be willing to do so without any known guidelines. Feel free to keep this thread going but you may be better off searching in one of the theme / design communities that PB hosts, as well as posting for design assistance in the below thread, rather than requesting a theme: support.proboards.com/post/4821942/thread
