You know I'm guilty of buying things I don't really need, since black Friday is already in a couple months believe it or not I've been eyeing myself a new microwave since my current one is going on 8 years old, she's been a good ship and everyone knows how important the microwave is in the kitchen she's about on her last leg. I can afford to get it now but why rush to it? The thing looks cool at around $200. Plus with apps like afterpay making it easier to split payments why not get yourself a microwave the has an air fryer built in? Eyeing anything you want to buy yourself lately? I'm hoping we actually say some fun items and nothing real logical like next months rent. A microwave isn't all that exciting but come on a built in air fryer only in 2023. Limited-time deal: TOSHIBA Air Fryer Combo 8-in-1 Countertop Microwave Oven, Convection, Broil, Odor removal, Mute Function, 12.4" Position Memory Turntable with 1.0 Cu.ft, Black stainless steel, ML2-EC10SA(BS) a.co/d/gVjfQh9

Oh I'm always adding stuff to my list. What I try to do is set and forget; I'll ask Honey to let me know if the price goes down a certain percentage to help, but otherwise forgetting helps me save money lmao. I got a drone at a huge discount recently that way.
As for stuff I'd still like, I've got a phone and a tablet still on the "expensive stuff" list, and some textbooks because I'm nothing if not still a huge nerd. Oh, and a macro lens for my DSLR. Luckily/unluckily they'll probably all go on sale around the same time and I'll have decisions to make.
For less expensive stuff, probably some Switch games. I keep track of those like I do with Honey so I get notifications, and otherwise I just try to never look at my wishlist unless it's something I absolutely must play on release haha.

I'm actually looking forward to that new Mario game but with the switch at the end of its life it makes it difficult for me to want to shell out $300 for a new one.

How is your 8 year old microwave on its last leg? O.o There isn't much to really go wrong with 'em. I think mine is 12-15 years old.
That unit you shared seems pretty nifty. I have been wanting to upgrade from the 700W unit I have. To also bring in convection oven and air fryer would certainly be nice and counter friendly.

The one we had growing up was 20 years old...guess they just don't make them like they used to. My parents owned one that they got when I graduated high school in 1982. They finally got rid of it 8 years ago. 33 years!

Because of the industry newer devices don't last as long where someone probably took the time to think about production and longevity of device, now it's robots slapping PCB's together on an assembly line making thousand units per day. Quality is bound to take a dip especially if you buy cheaper models.
