For me, it'd be Kauai or any of the greener areas of any of the Hawaiian islands. I can't describe the feeling I get every time we go, but I've never felt it anywhere else. When we go, we don't frequent the tourist shops/restaurants, but instead try to explore the back roads, the local hangouts.

I would live in Las Vegas, Nevada if I could because of casinos (I would gamble in safe moderation only regarding gambling) and so I can be closer to some of my family and friends that live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Some place with a lack of: 1. Hot weather 2. People
...but which also has Amazon Prime delivery.
Hmmm. Do they get Amazon Prime benefits in rural Alaska? 'Cause the South Pole might not meet that last requirement...

I would live in Las Vegas, Nevada if I could because of casinos (I would gamble in safe moderation only regarding gambling) and so I can be closer to some of my family and friends that live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I grew up in Las Vegas and would never live there again. It's full of crime, homeless, and bad healthcare, plus it takes forever to get anywhere due to the traffic. Money being no object.... Alaska, Hawaii (either the big island or ohau), or us virgin Islands for domestic destinations. Australia, New Zealand, UK, or Denmark/Germany for international. I've never been to New Zealand, but would love to go there someday. Some place with a lack of: 1. Hot weather 2. People ...but which also has Amazon Prime delivery. Hmmm. Do they get Amazon Prime benefits in rural Alaska? 'Cause the South Pole might not meet that last requirement... A lot of places in Colorado fit that bill. Plenty of small towns, snow, and delivery.

Anywhere where it snows, lots and lots of snow but that is only a dream as the wife hates the cold and SNOW, but compromising it would be a lovely little cottage in the countryside in Scotland (with snow of course).

Have you ever lived where it snows? I've lived in NY and WA state and I can tell you, it's beautiful but a lot of work. I wouldn't do it again unless I was retired and could just sit and watch it from my window and had lots of supplies handy. The ice is the biggest problem. My car once slid down a very small hill slowly and ever so gently bumped a police car. The officer just looked at me and grinned because he knew it was totally out of my control. Our house in WA required driving down a twisty road on a large hill with ditches on each side and the Hood Canal at the bottom. You can see a car off to the side in the ditch in the photo below. The owner of that other car with brake lights was seriously reconsidering going past the closed sign, LOL. Jim and I would often just park at the bottom and walk the mile and a half up to our house. We had shoe covers called YakTrax that we would put on to get up the hill. But, yeah, it was beautiful. This was our house:

My college town averaged 220 inches of snow a year... it can be a lot of work. I opted to pay someone to plow my driveway and that took most of the work away. Where I live now only averages around 90 inches, so I picked up a snowblower.

There was a brutal storm that hit the Midwest in 1977/1978 that dumped 390 inches at my college town and 164 inches in my hometown. I can't imagine those totals in either location.

Have you ever lived where it snows? It snows every year here in Scotland and in my army days stationed in Germany we had plenty of snow there too.
