Had one last Friday for dermatitis related issues, guess they just wanted to rule out any possible cancer issues here's to hoping not, ever have one? There's a slight pain during arm movement but otherwise not that bad.

Had one last Friday for dermatitis related issues, guess they just wanted to rule out any possible cancer issues here's to hoping not, ever have one? There's a slight pain during arm movement but otherwise not that bad. I've had a couple, but my husband wins the award in my family for most biopsies. He's had squamous cell and basal cell carcinoma. His biopsies have been on his face, head, arms and hands. I don't recall if he had any on the chest. The dermatologist has frozen many, many precancerous sites on him, too. Sunscreen, everyone! He and I grew up in a time where it was common to slather yourself with oil in order to get a darker tan, and to spend hours in the sun unprotected. Did you know that long-haul truck drivers get skin cancer on their left arms more than their right (in the US) because that's the arm that's always exposed as they're driving?

I've had one. Nothing was wrong, but we wanted to be sure, and it was a super simple and painless process. It was definitely better to do it than not. I've been thinking about another checkup, ain't no way I'm gonna mess with something like even the possibility of cancer.

How long did you guys wait to shower? The nurse recommended 48 hours I'm assuming leave the band-aid on during the shower I'm unsure if these stitches dissolve on there own like dentists type does or they have to remove them physically. Hopefully I'll get a nurse this morning so I can ask.
