Looking for an add on that allows copy and paste for pictures and videos. I don't think this is possible since images and videos need to be hosted somewhere in order to be viewable, and PB is not an image / video host. Tagging Chris for his 0.02. You can try the following plugin, but I am not sure its quite what you're looking for: support.proboards.com/thread/559852/restore-ability-paste-rich-preview

That plugin is meant to facilitate copying basic formats such as bold, underlined, etc., from sources over to Proboards because Proboards strips those formats to plain text when you paste the normal way. It is true that if the pasted data contains images, then those may also be brought along because of that plugin. Those images should be considered hot-linked since they are being paid for and hosted for the original source location that they were copied from and not explicitly permitted to be used on your forum by the entity paying for the hosting. It would be like a neighbor stealing your wifi instead of paying for their own, causing it to slow down or, even worse, being associated with unsavory activities. Out of the box, Proboards gives you the file attachments feature that is capable of using drag & drop (rather than copy & paste) for your uploading needs. However, that comes with stipulations such as size and quantity caps and not being accessible by members not logged into the forum. A video file would likely hit the size limitation and not be treated as a video the way using the insert video button to insert files hosted elsewhere would. If you click the button you will see a short list of sites that will host the videos for you, which can then be inserted and rendered inline into your posts. You copy & paste the final URL from the hosting site to get it inserted into the post. Numerous plugins have been made over the years to cater to these third-party hosting sites, but if the hosting sites themselves do not create these plugins then they are like wack-a-mole since they often fail whenever the hosting site makes a small change. We can write plugins for all these other services (depending on upload method and return). But I feel that in most cases it's a waste of time. Either the service will switch to an authentication method (i.e user login, or API key), or simply will not exist a few months from now. So it can be a lot of wasted effort, and hence why I stopped at the last one I wrote. Here are a few plugins that look to be still operational (with patches) at the moment judging by the latest posts in their given threads There are also browser addons (like the imgur.com addon) you can install to your browser that will facilitate copy & paste uploads or you can simply open the hosting site in a second tab and paste your file then grab the URL and insert it into your post.

Sadly, Nickpic was permanently shutdown.
