Hello
Wondering what the deal is with themes on mobiles.
I tried searching for this subject but couldn't find a straightforward answer.
The ones I've tried don't seem to work at all, instead I get the default blue and white theme coming up.
Are there themes that retain at least some of the design/colour scheme when viewed on a mobile?

Hello Wondering what the deal is with themes on mobiles. I tried searching for this subject but couldn't find a straightforward answer. The ones I've tried don't seem to work at all, instead I get the default blue and white theme coming up. Are there themes that retain at least some of the design/colour scheme when viewed on a mobile? Not exactly, because "mobile view" is a separate view -- you can change the colours over all, in your admin panel, but you can't do everything. Mobile view was designed back when most people who used mobile to check stuff online had limited access and capability. If you have a theme you like, you can go to admin > upgrades > experiments and turn off mobile view so that any one on mobile will load the desktop version. BUT if the theme wasn't designed to be mobile compatible, it will be a suboptimal user experience in certain areas. A final alternative is, of course, to create your own theme that strips the default layout HTML and CSS and rework it from the ground up to create a natively responsive design. Obviously, this is an option that only makes sense if you have the skill to do so, or can hire someone willing to do this (which are very rare finds in the PB community).
