If you're looking for a fun, tongue-in-cheek action adventure comedy, get yourself to the theatre and see Argylle. What a hoot!! It was also nice seeing a leading lady who isn't a size 0. It didn't even feel like over 2 hours. Fun, fun, fun and a bunch of twists! No spoilers, please!

Watched a trailer of this with the wife and it looks good, we both can't get out much nowadays (health-wise) but I had a look on our Amazon Prime and it looks like I can purchase it there, sooner or later.

Oh, a cinema/theatre thread Haven't got round to watching Argylle as i don't think i will like it. I enjoyed the first Kingman, but found the sequels over the top. I did watch The Holdovers last week, which i thought was fantastic, and i also saw The Zone of Interest, which is possibly the best film i have seen this past year. I've seen 13 films at the cinema so far in 2024. Hoping to make it to 150 by the end of the year!

So you might want to give this one a shot. I've never seen any of the others, so I viewed Argylle as a stand alone movie. It's getting harder to enjoy going to the cinema lately, as there's always a group that thinks it's okay to talk on their phone, make noise, socialize, etc., plus it's so expensive. There are movies, though, that need to be seen on the big screen, and we try to get to those.
