Which 1 is the best 1 I'm looking to buy

I've never owned an iPod. After the Creative Zen that I bought circa 2003, that was the last time I bought an MP3 player. It might be easier for you to use your phone and store your music on an SD card than to carry around two devices. This is assuming your phone has expandable storage. What benefits are you looking to get out of purchasing an iPod? Maybe we can help you research based on your wants and needs. How much music are you looking to store?

I saw the apple touch version 7 is the best 1 but in 2024 it's already out of date the software is out of date how do I get my iTunes on to it

What reason are you not using your phone and what features do you want in the device? What's your budget? Do you have your own burned cds and music library? Are you relying only on iTunes?

Well this is the issue my mom doesn't want me to use her computer for the downloads of the podcasts I listen to so I need to buy a new device I'm looking for help me

If you're just looking to download podcasts, can't you do that through your phone? All the features of cellphones now have made portable music devices pretty obsolete.

Oh that's a thing she doesn't want me to have a cell phone so I guess this is the next best option for me

They maybe obsolete but still super fun to toy with and getting collectable.

For just podcasts and streaming music though you could probably find a galaxy s6 on ebay for like $50 and use it as a mp3 player it might be a cellphone but you don't have to connect it to lte to make calls you can just enable wifi. Ipods are still just cellphones basically without phone call options.

Apple no longer makes the iPod touch with the 7th generation being the most recent iteration, so that's still going to be your best option if you can find one. The OS is older and won't get any new features (only security updates), but it will still work. It will still download podcasts and let you surf the web.

If you want to have the latest version of iOS you'll need to look for either an iPhone SE or an iPad mini. You don't need to have active cell service to use an iPhone as an iPod, but unless it's unlocked you will need a SIM card from the carrier which should come with the phone.

Need more info on version 7 I'm considering by need a lot more information where does and how it how I can download iTunes and listen to the podcast through like a wireless network I have wireless capability in my house but I need more information

You can download podcasts through the Podcasts app on the device. It's the same content you'd find on iTunes on a desktop, but Apple prefers to use separate, purpose-built apps for content on its devices.

You can connect to your home wi-fi in the Settings app just as easily as you would a laptop or other wireless device.
