What's an odd item that you have an attachment to

For me it would probably be a dresser just because it was my grandmother's and I was able to get it after she died.

A fork and a spoon, both were part of a set but these are the only 2 left, I have been using them for years now.

One is my desk; it belonged to my mom and she had it way before I was born. It's not the best design for what I do but it's pretty and solid wood and just really nice.

Another is my bookshelf. I've got a few, but the main one is one that my dad built for me when I was little. It goes up to the ceiling and I've never seen anything quite like it.

I also have a green stuffed dragon that I won in elementary school at lunch in some raffle I didn't know I'd entered. I must have been in second grade. I really liked that school and that dragon is reminiscent of some good times.

There's also a couple swords. My dad has given me two swords over the years as gifts, just because. That's fun to start, but they're also just genuinely cool, and I like that he saw them and thought of me.

Finally, so I don't write an essay, it's an e-bike that came to me after my aunt and uncle both passed during Covid. I use it a lot and think of them every time. It's one of the only real physical reminders I have of them so I plan on keeping it as long as I possibly can.

Lol my wife would probably respond the same way if she was on here. xD As for me, I don't really have a odd item that I'm attached to. It used to be this old sheet I had when I was a kid all the way up until I was 20 years old. I used to sleep with it every single night until it fell apart and I had to get rid of it.

A long thin putty knife from my first real job working at a JCPenney in Massachusetts. I worked in the online dept/stock area and we used it to open boxes of online orders. The store closed back in 2014, but I kept the knife as a reminder of that time and use it for the same purpose in my home today.

I have some box cutters from my first job back in 2015 like that I still keep around. They've been through it all. Even got my original name tag some place in here. I could probably call me old boss and just ask him for a box cutter. Infinite box cutter glitch.

Maybe my old computer desk.

It's one of those proper old desks, 3 draws on the left and right and one in the midle between both sides. I've had it since I was maybe 11 or 12 so it's well over 30 years+ old now. It's nothing fancy and needs a lot of work and could do with a lot of renovation. I keep tearing the cheapy sticvky "wood efect" covering off the tops because I've alwasys found it tacky (trashy) and over the years I removed the cheap plastic around the brass handles of the draws for the same reason. So it's kind of old, kind of worn and tired looking, but I'd never get rid of it.

An odd item I have is a Rocky the Flying Squirrel "Springy" that I got from inside a cereal box when I was a kid.  In a way you could say I have an attachment to it since it's the only thing I still possess from my childhood.  Got it in 1969 and honestly considering how many times I've moved as a kid and as an adult, I amazed I still have it.
