Forum URL: varietygalore.boards.net/ I respond that my forum is general info forum and am asked to be specific. Otherwise Proboards will not help to promote it.. Please offer a suggestion to get around this obstacle. Thank you.

Hey It may be worth taking a look at some of the description of the forums already in the directory. It may provide some ideas. There are some that are general forums to discuss all things. www.proboards.com/forum-directory/Entertainment

Radrook - the idea behind the description for the Forum Directory is to include relevant keywords that will have your forum show up in search results while still giving the user an idea what the forum is about. Granted this can be challenging with a 75 character limit, but still doable. I'm not saying you did this, but one of the most common things that will get a submission rejected is if it starts with: "This is a forum about..." Stating this is redundant because the user is already aware they are searching for a forum, so that doesn't need to be repeated, and it eats up 1/3 of the available characters that could be used for keywords instead. I took a look at your forum and threw this together as an example of a possible description: Hopefully this gives you an idea of how concise phrasing with keywords can give more insight to what your forum is about.

I just fixed a discrepancy between my forum name and the one I had entered at the admin settings section. Perhaps that is what was causing the problem. Please let me know if my forum has been accepted now. If not, then can you please fix this problem for me? Thank you.

Do you mind if I ask what options you are selecting that are causing your rejection? I genuinely don't remember what I did for mine since it was so long ago, but I presume they want you to pick specific categories and sub-categories and not just "other" if an "other" option exists.

No, there is no option called other. But I just corrected discrepancy between my forum's name and the one I had mistakenly entered. Please let me know if this fixed the problem of having my forum listed. Thank you,

I showed you what I found when I searched for your forum. It didn't appear with any other forums based on my search. Yours is the only one with the URL you provided.

Since I seem to be misunderstood. Let me explain once more. My forum is supposed to be listed, correct? Question: Is my forum listed with the other forums? I can't locate it alphabetically. If it isn't listed then how can I get it listed? That is the simple question that should not be difficult to understand. If indeed I am still not understood, then I guess there is nothing further I can say. Here is the forum directory I wish my forum to be added to: www.proboards.com/forum-directoryBTW I never claimed the the url to my forum was ineffective.

A now deleted post asked if it was visible in Tapatalk. She showed you that yes it was. Try searching the directory for your forum then.

I used the word 'variety' on the directory page and found your forum. It was on page 3 or 4, I believe, but it's there. www.proboards.com/forum-directory/search/results/4?q=varietyAs you can see from the image, other forums that have the word 'variety' in their name and/or description show as well.
