Hidden Theme Question

I'm not sure where to post this question.

I help out as an Admin on a forum and the owner wants a code to get rid of the "hidden theme" which has to do with the Plug-In "User Theme Display." If the theme is not Selected, Theme To Record and SAVED, it will show has a "hidden theme" in their profile and where the member's list is displayed. I don't see a fix for this, but I thought I would ask for her.

you will need to be more specific (reference links) because search came up with goose eggs when "User Theme Display" was used. In general, it is best practice to provide links

I don't know what else to post for a link. I think you have to join in order to see the member list. When you look at them member list, it will show under the category that some of the profiles say HIDDEN THEME.

That forum might enable registration which is currently disabled.

Work comes first; had it been enabled 22 hours ago, it would have been a quick look-and-see. I have bills to pay and a family to support which is why I ask for the simple respect of having all the ducks lined up in a row so I am not wasting time...

Clumsy thing. The person managing the plugin has to 'record' each and every installed theme and type in a name for each theme. And it nags the member with popups more than once after they change their theme. And if the member has selected a theme the person managing the plugin has not recorded, "Hidden Theme" is displayed on their miniprofile. The last part is the problem Dazzal is talking about.

We have different ways of communicating, and definitely not in-sync. I provided the information that I had available. My time was wasted as well.

The forum owner closed her registration, so this issue can be closed, since she did not like the response here. There is a difference in time frame as to where we all live, so that should be acknowledged as well. I am an older woman and I felt very disrespected in this thread. It would have only taken a minute to look at the above said forum. Peace out!

dragonfli" as I stated previously, I was doing my best to provide information. I was doing a favor for the forum owner, and she is the one that closed the registration. I don't feel I was rude. I was talked down to.

I looked at the plugin: User Theme Display. This plugin has an open build – meaning the plugin's code can be edited by the forum admin (or member with appropriately assigned power).

Theme Unsaved is displayed when the member has not responded to the plugin's request to save their defined theme choice in the plugin's popup prompt..

Hidden Theme is displayed when the member's defined theme choice is saved, but the theme has not been added to the plugin's Settings.

These defaults are displayed in both the Members List (if enabled) and the member's mini-profile (if enabled).


To change the text for either of these, go to Admin > Plugins > Manage, and click on the plugin's name, then on the Build Plugin button. Click on the Components tab.


Theme Unsaved
Code to change is found on lines 109 and 129:
{themetext = 'Theme Unsaved'}
Hidden Theme 
Code to change is found on lines 120 and 140:
themetext='Hidden Theme'

For either one of these change the text between the single quotes to the desired new text. Keep the single quotes!  If no text is desired then add  .   Do not just remove the text so that there are no characters between the single quotes.



I'm unlocking this thread in case there are any questions, or if anyone more familiar with the plugin or JS wants to offer a different solution.
