Thread Merge

Hello,

I am new to these boards, so if this has been addressed elsewhere then I apologize in advance.

I was just wondering if there is a plug-in or feature that allows for the merge of threads in the event that there are multiple threads addressing the same topic?

If not then I would like to formally request such a plug-in/feature.

There is not really a way to "merge" threads, although it is currently possible to move the posts of one thread to another. However threads posts are automatically listed chronologically so the end result could result in a disjointed flow of the conversation. There is no way to avoid this, even with a plugin.
