Custom theme images

Hi!

I manage a forum for my fantasy hockey league.

I added Custom Theme Images for every teams.

I change every image name for the keyboard shortcut I want for each image like _NYR_ for New York Rangers and _MTL_ for Montreal Canadiens.

I was thinking it would do the same as the Smiles. You know when you time () or (), you get   or   in your message.

But when I type _MTL_, nothing appears when I post a new message.

Is there something I missed? Somebody can help me?

Custom Theme Images do not work the same as the Smiles. The custom images section is a storage area for specific images that are used for that particular theme (such as a banner image, or body background image, etc.) To use a custom theme image you would use the link provided (click link button).

For what you want to do, you can add your team images to the Smiles section and use the same naming convention you did for what you did in the custom image section. If they're set up in Smiles, then _MTL_ will work in a post.
