Map Pin

Hi, I don't know if this has been asked, I apologize in advance if this already has....
I would like to know if you can make a map and be able to pin them so you can mark it when you are from... 
I don't know if this is possible... or if there is a pin, please direct me in that direction.

I don't think a plugin exists for this, but there are plenty of 3rd party sites that have embeddable maps for this purpose.

Is there something specific you want in this plugin that a third party version can't do? Or did you have a particular vision for the step by step user experience?

good question... a long time ago I found a map where you can pin-point on the map where you are from with a thumb tack... but I forgot the name of the website. I wish I knew the name of it. My brain just isn't working right now. 
I am just looking for something that has a map and you can option to use thumb tack, flower, cat, whatever to pin-point it. I will look around and see if I can find it. however , I did see this last night as I was browsing around the net.
ZM I found this... I'm not sold on this site just yet. I may look around to see if I can find that site I had a long time ago. The one I am looking for was pretty cool.
