Fake or real plants?

I only have fake ones now after I managed to kill all my living plants. Too much water. Too little water. Too much sun. They all hated me lol

When I was a college student, I had an amazing plant that grew from the windowsill all the way around the room. Now, I would forget to water it, probably.

I've always worried about leaves falling off and my dogs eating them and getting sick, so I haven't had plants for a very long time.

Well, we have a few indoor plants in this flat and as the wife used to be a manageress in a florist shop they will never die off.

This is a paper rose-made plant sitting on our window ledge...





and this is the wife's 'Busy Lizzie' which we have had for around 10 years...




Plant's, fake or real are life for us to brighten up a day.

I also have fake ones.. I just kill everything I touch (plant wise.. not human wise)
I have really tried in the past, but I gave in to it and got the fake ones haha. No one ever notices, except my mom (who has a green thumb)..

i prefer fake so they dont die, but real are really good cause they look better

I dont have any plants and my xmas tree is a artificial tree Besides there is only one plant I like (cant say which one here on proboards.

I have a mix. I've got a lot of real plants out in an area that gets plenty of sun and fake ones in one of the rooms that doesn't, which is currently my workspace. For real plants though I do look for ones that don't need minute-by-minute care lest they immediately die. I'm not even bad at taking care of plants, I just want to be able to turn my back on them for five minutes every so often.

Assuming I know what you mean, it's legal in many states now.

Try an aloe vera succulent, as they seem nearly impossible to kill.
When I lived in NYC in the 70s, my uncle and I had a single little aloe vera on a window sill for a number of years. One day I noticed it had turned decidedly yellowish, so I poured in a cup of water and within a few days it fully recovered. Then I felt guilty about having "tortured" it and kept a close eye on it from then on.
Of course, cactus-types aren't the prettiest to look at.

Yes I know...sadly thats not the case here in the UK (its still illegal)

same!! 

somehow i managed to kill 2 succulents in like a month. i read online that plants like the nitrites in coffee, so silly lil me poured leftover coffee water into the soil. they turned brown and died   oops lol
