For me it's just the ability to chat with people you never knew you'd have the chance to outside of the internet. Some can grow to be good friends and learn from each other. Other advancements is not having to actually throw away something whenever it might break. Depending on the scenario of course. Technology parts always get more advanced and more affordable to where it basically just works for people. I've enjoyed seeing it span out in the medical field as well. Portable xrays machines are always cool to see. A company is developing a pill with a camera you can actually swallow. youtu.be/MB0l1PGVJTA?si=HbjypJQTem1lud5q

There's already a pill with a camera that's been used for years for endoscopy.
Digital radiography has been a thing, including on portables, for over a decade.
What's really cool and on the horizon is bioprinting, using organic matter 3D printed for organ transplants.
Right now, though, the big thing is the assistance of AI to aid in better detection of diseases on X-rays. I don't see them ever getting rid of radiologists, but an extra set of "eyes" is really helpful for detecting small abnormalities.

Personally speaking, the first one that comes to mind is navigation. It's so much easier to get around in the world now than it used to be. Maps, ride sharing, transit, the way your phone can remember where you've parked, and there are even apps for finding good public restrooms. I don't consider myself directionally challenged but I feel much more comfortable getting around in places I've never been before.
More broadly speaking I love the medical advancements we've made, both in terms of things like treatments we've never had before and also more ways to assist those with disabilities. So many things are so much more accessible for more people now and it's a wonderful thing. I like what supercomputing can do to assist in finding treatments and cures, and the way distributed computing projects can also let your average person take part in medical research around the world.
As a Trek nerd I also love the stuff like 3D printing and how we're getting close to being able to converse with computers now. As spooky as all the AI stuff is, I also see the potential for something wonderful.

Speaking of which I've been using my 2013 laptop more often as a secondary machine, it's wild because this is the very laptop I use to communicate with most of you on it. I upgraded from 4gb Ddr3L to 16gb ddr3L ram for $20 and popped in a $30 512gb ssd. Installed win11 and it's booting in under 30 seconds and win11 isn't even laggy on it. Granted it's no gaming beast but for file transfers will do fine. So even older tech is still usable in today's age.

Neat so like producing Ai 360 video camera recorders?

What I love most about today's technology is how it's become so accessible and integrated into our daily lives. These days we are at a point where technology enables us to do just about anything. What's even more incredible is that much of this tech is now affordable and widely available. I remember a time when having a good internet connection or a nice TV was a luxury not everyone could afford. Now, these things are part of the everyday experience for so many people. I could point and name various types of technology that I enjoy but I truly appreciate just how much is out there for us these days.
