Old Proboards

I made my forum in late 2004. Unfortunately my late-2000s-self decided to nuke most of it, however a husk of it is still online, albeit in stasis form. I also found that the Wayback Machine archived a few chunks of it.

Really wish I didn't delete half my boards back then..not sure what I was thinking aside from wanting to erase the past (willingly, at the time), but still, ouch.

When I click on the image you sent me, it looks normal to me. It's readable. I polled my members and no one said they had trouble reading my forum. I asked my boyfriend who can't see things close-up if the font on my forum was too small, and he said that it wasn't. I'm not implying anything is wrong with you or your eyes. Maybe it's the resolution on your monitor. Maybe there's another factor we aren't considering.

bigballofyarn my desktop resolution is at 1920x1080
My browser zoom is 90%
Your forum is readable to me. Not too small for me personally or my gf. *shrugs* looking as a guest at the home page and a few threads open to public. Don't make it bigger. Forums with large font are a turnoff.

It looks big to me in this Pic. My res is 1920x1080. What's yours? Do other sites with the same font size as hers look small to u too

Looks good to me three. Easy on the eyes. Not too big or small. Baby Bear says it's just right.

I can read it now if I zoom in at 200+.........

Whoa that Pic is so big that board titles take up half the screen. Might be your resolution. But I can't say for sure.

I wish i could go back and look at all my old forums! Even just looking at my old posts on this account are nostalgic lol hopefully one day ill happen upon it

We started our collectors forum in July of 2010 and it is still up, going, growing and active. Like most forums, we lost a lot to the FB groups providing quick likes to satisfy the need for affirmation, but we are now seeing an uptick in those returning to the forum. We are a bit unique in that we are not only a forum, but we also incorporate a lot of research and archival of documentation for the previously mentioned research, so this may be part of the reason why we have survived while most forums have not.

I believe that another thing we've done which has kept us going is that we have three very active admins who send out update messages to members as well as keep everyone informed of the next great thing that we are doing.

14 years and still active!
