My mom called me Min. My ex called me Marn.

Some nowadays call me Maven or Wild, but those are online friends.

My display name is one of them. I wish I could say people came up with a bunch of clever ones, but the second-most popular nickname, of all things, was "Bob," and to this day I have no idea why.

I was highly opposed to nicknames my entire life in real life. My mom even claims that if anyone tried to call me Chris, Chrissy, Tina, or anything else when I was a kid that I looked them dead in the eye and said, "My name is Christina." I don't want a nickname now either. It even annoys me if I get called Christine.

Online, I don't care. I understand that my username is long. So, people often call me Yarn or Yarny and both of those are fine.

I grew up in alaska and the school would sometimes be cold, so id bring a blanket to help keep my legs warm. high school parties we had id find a blanket and snuggle on the couch with it haha
