Hello,
Is there already or would it be possible to have a plugin that allows you to add custom tabs to profiles and manage them?
I am aware of the "Custom Profile Fields on New Tab" plugin by Wormopolis but that doesn't really work for me, as it only adds one extra tab that shows on every profile and removes all custom fields from the Summary tab. Instead, I'm looking for something that adds a completely new tab and allows the admin to set the layout/contents. The amount of new tabs needed and their contents would largely depend on which groups the user is a part of (so some might only need one new tab, some more) but it might also be useful to be able to add a tab to any users profile regardless of what groups they belong to (like adding an extra tab to a user who has done a lot to help out on the forum, listing their contributions and provided resources).
Bonus points if the plugin allows you to change the names of the existing tabs and/or hide some of them.
If this can be done without a plugin, I'm also open for suggestions! I just couldn't figure out where to access the tabs, as the layout template for the user profiles only allows you to access the contents of the already existing tabs.
Thanks in advance for any help or tips! - Kiyoshiro

I have not used this plugin, but it seems to check all the boxes: - Multiple tabs
- Customizable tab names (assumed)
- Customizable tab contents
Plugins have limited storage space, and profile fields have that storage space beat by far. Custom profile fields do not have a group setting but can be grouped via template conditionals if memory serves. They can also be set to staff-only so they can then be applied on a per-user basis. Thanks Peter! It works amazing now! So I have to ask for one last thing because I'm horrible this isn't important but is there any way to change the button text for each field?
