Forum Title H1 or H2

In terms of SEO, I believe it's ideal if each pages title would be H1, but when I run SEO checks the main forum name comes in as H1 and the thread or board is H2.
And if I change the thread title or board title to H1, it's then flagged up as having multiple H1.
Is there a way to fix it so only the title of each page is the H1?

Are you using a heavily-modified custom template? I ask because the default forum template already has the board, thread, and other page titles wrapped in <h1> tags as one would expect.

In fact, the only issue with the heading tags is that the main forum page doesn't have <h1> at all and skips right to <h2>, which is improper, but easily remedied.
