Walmarts low key been releasing new products under different names. They always had mainstays now better goods probably will be fading out great value products. I was looking for scented oil plugs cause that's my bag. Prices like glade, air wick and what not was insane to me. About $6 per one refill. I came across this mainstays scented oil kit and you know what actually smells really good. www.walmart.com/ip/1030054710?sid=3fb2f764-4669-44be-abf4-16c8924c12c9Of course you gotta buy the warmer than the liquid but still once you get enough it lowers the cost per $3 a refill. Worth checking out. Link some products you might've found at Walmart that surprised you. Another thing I remember a few years ago I was about to spend $200 on a fancy keurig, saw mainstays had a $20 kcup maker that worked just as good for single serves. Since upgraded but for the price difference can't complain.

I have always thought Walmart was great for budgeting compared to Publix.

I find Amazon to be better. I hate stepping into walmart. For groceries, we go 20 minutes out to the local grocery store. It's ALL food. For anything else, Amazon, aside from clothes. I go to Hot Topic, VampireFreaks, or Spencers for all that. lol.

I have found their brand is NEVER as bad as media or google makes it seem.. everything will have a "difference" of course, but nothing worth a 200% increase in my honest opinion. I recently bought their candle warmer from mainstays! It was a nice addition to my 12 others.. haha

Great Value grocery products always have a weird after taste. You can notice this in their cereal products. There's a reason why I always get name brand in certain situations.

I usually do Trader Joes/Shaws/Stop and Shop up here in MA, but during the height of COVID I was doing Walmart exclusively for their drive up grocery. I was surprised that the store brand stuff actually wasn't that bad; my expectations were low.

It's a hit or miss really, things like ice cream and chips I haven't really had an issue with. Some of their frozen pizzas aren't bad either. Their salad dressings and jar stuff are worth trying also. I get spending a little more on products you're use to but doesn't hurt to try to save a little.
