along with the other ways to toggle between boards in my forum, I also have a horizontal row of icons above each board that my users can click to get from one board to the next more quickly.

My question is, is there a way to state the code for these icons, so an alternate icon will appear if there's a new post to view? This would make navagation in my forum very quick.
