I posted this in support on this coder area and it was suggested I post here instead. ps I tried it following the direction at the bottom and without the direction - same result
.......................................
I tried the following code which was given to me from someone at PBsupport. It does not work. What should be opaque turned the colour of the text border.
<style> .windowbg { filter:alpha(opacity=50); -moz-opacity:0.5; opacity: 0.5; } .windowbg2 { filter:alpha(opacity=50); -moz-opacity:0.5; opacity: 0.5; } </style>
Leave the field in admin > edit forum colors, next to "border color", blank. The other backgrounds you should leave as is if you want partial transparency
.................................................
I have asked numerous times throughout ProBoards Support forums for a code for opacity that actually works with V4. Each time I get sent to another site - That site has black writing on very dark gray.....I can't see it. A freind searced there for me, as me and tells me that people cannot get the opacity code to work.
In no obvious place is that code even given.
Please could someone just give me code, instead of sending me on a wild goose chase......why is it such a big secret anyway?
Also, where does it go. I am an older person and need detailed instructions. Please I would kneel down and beg but my knees are not so great anymore.
Follow up question: Can opacity or transparancy be put on one skin and not the others?
Thank you for your time. It is baffling to figure out where to put questions now.
