I think there's a limit to how good you can be if you use Paint. There's actually a few decent tutorials around Proboards that may help. For example, you could make a gradient background by simply using the shift and click method. I did have some uploaded when I was in charge of SSD but they have seemed to have disappeared. They've still got a few though. You can check here. For the sig, it's nice, however I think you could have maybe cut the renders out? I know it wouldn't look too good considering the pixels would be rather edgy, but by attaining one of the backgrounds from the tutorials I showed you, then you may not realize. Also, I think a border would finish it off. Considering you used paint, the effort is definitely there. Oh, may I also suggest you save it as a .png- you'll notice the difference in the finishing |

They look okay though the images you used were low quality, unless Paint does that to images.

Well considering paint its pretty good. But you can get free trials of photoshop and paintshop pro. (Look in the sticky for links.) Consider doing that and improving and then maybe buying one of them.

Hm, I don't think it was the .gif that ruined it... I think it was the quality of the graphics themselves. Not bad for paint, actually. A big large for a signature, though... maybe a banner?  Since paint is limited, I'd say the only suggestion I'd make is to add a border. A simple black one would do fine  Good luck! |
