Hobby or Profession?

How many of you designers think of graphics designing as a hobby or profession for you?

For me, I guess maybe both.

For now, Hobby =P Still got lots to learn. As I grow older/more experienced... maybe a profession. (Whereas I can actually earn $) Don't see myself dedicated my life to it, though... just... a hobby XDD

It's a hobby for me. I've obviously got a lot to learn and a long way to go before I can earn, but I'm hoping to at some point actually go into the web design profession as a subcareer, possibly. I would have to learn other styles of web designing first and get used to them, because obviously not everyone would want my style of design, but it could be done.

For me, it's a hobby and nothing more. While I enjoy doing it, I could never make a living off of it.

I've hoped for it to be profession. Now, before any of you say, "omg u rnt good enuf for that." Wait and listen.

I had a plan to make a website selling skins and website templates with Ovi. It never started, but I still hope to get it going. And many people don't need the top notch templates and skins and will pay for less. Either way, I'm only 14, I have a long time to improve my skills.

Both ways I guess. In my future a profession maybe.. Still have a lot to learn though.

For me I think it's always just gonna be a hobby - I would never really want to take up graphic designing as a hobby tbh although I might do a bit of freelance webdesigning in my spare time one of these days.

only a hobby,only thing I can create is sigs and im still a noob at that :/

Mostly hobby. I've made some money designing websites but it's nothing I really want to go into full time. I have other plans for a career profession.

Hobby, but I'd do it freelance, but probably not as a career.
